I am a Portland-native and a graduate of Lewis & Clark College with a double-major in English and Philosophy. I spent the first part of my career in academia, earning a Masters in Philosophy and teaching undergraduates at the University of Arizona.
My research interests and teaching were focused on understanding how ethics can improve business, medicine, economics, and the environment.
While an instructor at Arizona, I learned web development and design, using those skills to craft four independent and interactive online courses. At their peak, these classes enrolled over 1,200 students per semester.
I am currently the business operations manager for Pacific NW Properties, a locally owned company focused on the development, acquisition and management of multi-tenant industrial parks and office buildings in the Portland Metropolitan Area.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, playing guitar in a family band, and spending time with my wife, Nicolette, and Sedona, our black labrador.
Additionally, I have dedicated extensive hours to private tutoring and worked as a technology consultant for several businesses.
My education skills are grounded in a solid foundation of analytical thinking and clear communication.
